Milada Colours

Professional musician and music teacher

My art is closely related to music.
Experience from music ensembles focusing on various styles (classical music, jazz, rock, EDM) resulted in the founding of the band Hypnotix, which fundamentally influenced my future artistic journey.

I started to paint when I took some time out from playing, my ears wanted a rest.
The break was very pleasant, and after a while I started seeking a new life experience, one which I could use my existing creativity as well as develop new skills.

From the very beginning of working in the studio, it opened up a new door of a seemlessly unknown world of colors, smells, shapes, and many art techniques, with endless possibilities.
This is also how Academic painter: Martin Mainer, explained the journey of art during the first lesson which inspired me.
My first steps through the world of colors were led by Academic painter: Barbora Chlastáková, but most of the credit goes to the current teacher, whom is Academic painter: Aldin Popaja www.aldinpopaja.cz

The materials I like to work with are acrylic, oil and dry pastel.
My work consists of turning the perception of music in its dynamics using rhythm and harmony, along with both the visions that come from my inner world (influenced by the infinite energy of life), combined with digital techniques, allows me to then transform all of this energy into images.

I work closely with DJ DiGA mixcloud.com/Digous, whom produces special mixes that I listen to whilst painting as I believe music and painting are connected.
To explain further, colours have their rhythm, brush strokes have their rhythm, mixed color is not forgotten and on the contrary, the past connection color versus music.
Everything is full of emotions such as joy, seeking but not finding and frustration –
Yin and Yang, the whole World.
And then comes the surprising information that the visions transmitted to the images have their deeper meaning, because when I later have a book or an article in my hand, I find that there is a zero point / After a zero point /, the butterfly symbol has a profound meaning / Connection /, endlessly repeating – fractal / Fractal / , how clean cells look / Cells /…
The alchemy of the process of creation and the creative energy that connects all and everything is what attracts me to art.
